Hi I am Suzie,

I have been a drama and performing arts teacher for 8 years and I love it. I currently work at a secondary school, but I do lots of teaching outside of school too. I lead performance workshops with young people on behalf of several local charities, and I have also worked for Stagecoach, Inspire PA, Shakespeare Schools Festival and now APA! I am a trained advisor for the Arts Award, and I teach LAMDA courses as well. When I was (much) younger I took part in many shows and cabarets, performing all over the South East, and even worked at a few theatres in London after I completed my Drama degree. I love to sing, dance and act, but I get the most amount of joy from watching the young people that I teach grow in confidence, it is the best feeling in the world. On show nights, you will usually find me backstage crying with pride (something my pupils find very embarrassing!).

I am so excited to be joining the team and I cannot wait to meet you all, I have heard such amazing things about your talents and enthusiasm. I am a great lover of silly drama games, so I hope you are ready to get creative when we finally get started.

See you very soon, I hope!
