APA takes the responsibility of keeping your children safe within this global pandemic to the highest degree. We have taken on all Government Guidelines and have a put all into practice whilst completing a fullĀ  Rick assessment for each venue.

Below is a break down of how at APA we will be running EVERY class.

  • Before the classes have began the children have been split into bubbled groups of 15 – 20 children maximum. Each child will be split with siblings and as near to there school year group bubbles as possible.
  • The first session will start after designated adults have thoroughly cleaned and set up sanitizing stations. We have 15 minuets either side of each session to ensure this is done thoroughly and all cleaning is recorded for both venues to ensure we are up to date.
  • Taking steps to improve ventilation as far as possible, both using mechanical systems and opening windows and doors.
  • When working indoors, limiting the numbers to safely match the available ventilation of the space and the ability to observe social distancing
  • The students will have already been instructed where they enter and leave the building.
  • For the Memorial Hall One group of 15 will enter via the Harris room using the side gate. The other group of 15 will enter via the main doors
  • For St Catherine’s all parents and carers will wait outside with your children until a member of staff come to collect the class.
  • Our APA PRO CLASS to wear face coverings whilst walking to the the studios.
  • Reviewing layouts to allow children to work further apart from each other.
  • Within lesson Using floor tape or dots to mark areas to help people keep the social distance will be assured.
  • Avoiding people working face-to-face. For example, by working side-by-side or facing away from each other. Especially within singing lessons children will be stood side by side.
  • Staff will be wearing appropriate PPE provided by APA.
  • Children will be collected by their designated adults in the designated area they were dropped off. Please No parents to enter the Performance space

This is obviously a rough guide to our risk assessment as things could change in an instant. We will be following guidelines to ensure everyone person in our care is safe. If you need us to do anything further or change anything of course we will ensure to work with you all.
